LAGUNA ESMERALDA TREKKING

Itinerary:

  • 09:00 – Departure from the hotel by minibus to Tierra Mayor Valley (20 km)

  • 10:00 – Start of the hike at Refugio Nunatak, after equipping with trekking poles

  • Hike through peat bogs, streams, and ancient forests of Lengas and Coihues

  • Possibility of spotting foxes, condors, and beavers

  • 12:30 – Arrival at Laguna Esmeralda, in the heart of the Tierra del Fuego Natural and Scenic Reserve

  • Pause to rest and have lunch (box lunch) on the shores of the lagoon

  • 14:00 – Return to the refuge via a different path and then back to the hotel
