PENGUIN WALK

Season: Summer (October to March)
Duration: Approximately 6 hours
Departure time: To be confirmed at the time of booking (departure from the tourist port of Ushuaia)
Children policy: Allowed for ages 5 and up. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.


Itinerary:

  • Check-in at the tourist port office in Ushuaia

  • Sailing through the Beagle Channel with views of the city and the mountains

  • Photo stop at Bird Island (seabird observation)

  • Stop at Sea Lion Island (sea lion sighting)

  • Passage by Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse

  • Continue sailing southeast to Harberton Ranch

  • Board a semi-rigid zodiac boat to Martillo Island

  • 30-minute walk among gentoo penguins in their natural habitat

  • Return to Harberton Ranch

  • Drive back to Ushuaia with scenic views
