NAVIGATION – NORTH FACE OF PERITO MORENO GLACIER

Season: Year-round
Duration: Approximately 1 hour
Departure times: 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM
Location: Puerto Moreno – Canal de los Témpanos, Los Glaciares National Park
Age policy: Suitable for all ages (ID required)
Difficulty level: Low – sightseeing boat ride with no physical effort

Itinerary:

  • Departure from Puerto Moreno, near the glacier walkways

  • Navigation through the Canal de los Témpanos toward the north face of Perito Moreno Glacier

  • Stop in front of the famous rupture zone, where massive ice breaks occur periodically

  • Slow navigation along the full length of the glacier wall

  • Onboard guide will provide explanations about the glacier's history, geology, and natural behavior

  • Return to the port
