Minitrekking - Glacial Perito Moreno

Duration: Approximately 10 hours
Departure time: Between 7:30 AM and 11:00 AM (to be confirmed upon booking)
Location: Perito Moreno Glacier
Age policy: Allowed only for ages 8 to 65
Difficulty level: Medium – requires good physical condition
Departure from El Calafate to Bajo de las Sombras Port
20-minute boat ride on the Rico Arm, approaching the glacier
Welcoming by mountain guides at the opposite shore
Distribution and fitting of crampons; groups of up to 10 people
Start of the ice trek, lasting about 1.5 hours
Observation of blue lagoons, deep crevasses, moulins and ice caves
Interpretation about glaciology, local wildlife and vegetation
Break on the glacier for photos and snacks (not included)
Return to the starting point and removal of equipment
Transfer to Perito Moreno walkways, with free time to explore the viewpoints
Return to El Calafate
